Nalco Champion, an Ecolab company, continues to set the golden example for video marketing best practices. They utilize a multipurpose, long term content creation strategy that allows them to constantly generate video content for various needs, both immediate and yet to be determined, across a diverse landscape of platforms. The most recent example comes from their Behavioral Training Division, which needed a series of 11 training videos focusing on different “Right Way/Wrong Way” business scenarios. Nalco Champion leveraged their existing partnership with POP Video to transcribe old videos, develop new scripts, scout locations, cast talent, create a compact shot list, sort logistics & scheduling, create content and deliver first cuts for approval all within a couple of months. This process was new to the Behavioral Training Division but the existing partnership with POP Video made for a seamless transition between business groups. The content that was acquired will be utilized immediately for internal training purposes and then get added to Nalco Champion’s sprawling content library for later use in things like print materials, recruiting content, web design, etc. Check out some stills from the two day shoot:
