We recently finished up a large project with Early Matters. Early Matters is, according to HEB President Scott McClelland,

An historic effort in Houston.

This coalition of over seventy-five high powered Houstonians and over sixty prominent area business partners has come together over the past two years to do some truly inspiring work with Houston's youngest citizens.

Pop Video was enlisted to produce an array of content for Early Matters to roll out in conjunction with their new website. The conceptual foundation for the content produced was this video, detailing the mission of Early Matters and stressing it's importance to our community.

As we tell companies every day, you can stretch your content pretty far with the right planning. Through close collaboration with Deutser, and Always Creative, we were able to generate a number of other assets for this campaign, including almost sixty portraits, both in video and still photography for use in the video itself, as well as on the new website.

The coalition memebers were also photographed without their baby portraits for a scrolling group banner image.

We used b-roll footage shot at Small Steps in Houston to put together a video loop for the homepage. This is the first thing visitors see when they land on the page and is crucial in the development of perception.

We also helped develop their YouTub page, assiting in the video's placement and keywording, and choosing the channel art. (Channel art came from b-roll we shot at Small Steps in Houston)

Even though this project was much more than just a video, video served as the foundation for content generation. Early Matters was able to flood their campaign with great content and fill out their new website because they chose the right partners, put in the work up front, and trusted the process.
