This Friday we're remembering an awesome project with our friends at Adhere Creative that took us to Puerto Rico, where we worked hard, played even harder, and attempted to get a tan. Some of us were more successful than others.
While we were there we captured some sweet footage of military equipage being manufactured, and we even got to play corporate portrait photographer! Some people don't believe us that we can pull still frames from our RED Epic that are comparable to professional DSLR images. Well, I think this lovely portrait of Erica will put that to rest. There's just something about the sensor on the RED that gives its images a filmic edge. The subtly grained midtones...deep, smooth blacks... anyway, we could go on for hours about how great our stills are...we won't bore you!
Bluewater Defense is a truly bad ass company and it was a pleasure to get to work with people who are dedicated to serving the brave men and women of our armed forces. I think that their passion and work ethic was translated in their video. We're looking forward to doing more work with them soon.
So, on this balmy Houston Friday, we'll sit and drink a glass of aged rum, dreaming of the serene rain forests and sparsely populated beaches of Puerto Rico...maybe we can will ourselves back there!
